Among the restaurants of Verona, set in the enchanting Monte Baldo scenery and with a breathtaking sight on Lake Garda on a field trip from the centre of Verona, the Taverna Kus restaurant is the ideal place to have dinner or business lunches, events, anniversary parties and romantic dinners. In Romeo and Juliet’s Verona, Taverna Kus is the right romantic restaurant in the right setting. Giancarlo Zanolli turned the Taverna Kus restaurant into the main cuisine place in Monte Baldo and one of Verona’s best known and most picturesque ones. The Venue is set in an old farmhouse and stands as a unique example with its theme rooms, its outstanding flavour and a spectacular atmosphere.
The eating experience was designed for a few guests (approximately 60 seats), in order to allow all guests to enjoy the exemplary service and treat themselves to a professional cuddle. The kitchen brigade is led by Chef Emanuela Moretti: simple, well-defined dishes; while available dishes follow the seasons and make the most of the local produce. Just a couple of examples: creamed orzotto with Monte Baldo truffle, nettle gnocchi with Baldo cheese fondue, the classic roast beef made on a monumental spit. Every month there is a thematic tasting menu (€ 35.00): asparagus in April, wild, aromatic herbs in May, cheese in June, and chestnuts in the autumn.
